Hervé Di Rosa (born in 1959) is one of the founding figures of the French Figuration Libre movement, which emerged in the early 1980s as a reaction to minimalism. His colorful, pop, and irreverent universe, nourished by popular culture, comic books, and outsider art, is now recognized on the international scene and present in numerous public and private collections.

This original numbered lithograph, signed in pencil and dated 1990, titled Le bonheur truqué (The Faked Happiness), is an explosive composition with vivid colors — red, orange, blue, green — where cartoonish characters and graphic motifs intertwine in a joyful narrative chaos. A work representative of Di Rosa's full maturity.
