PACART was born from a shared passion for art, artists, and the pleasure of collecting.
As collectors for several years, we have developed our eye over time, through discoveries, encounters, sales, workshops, and above all, the works that have caught our attention. Some for the signature they bear, others simply because they evoke that particular emotion that makes you want to look at them again and live with them.
From this passion gradually emerged a desire: to move from collectors to gallery owners, to, in turn, share the pleasure of discovery and offer the works we ourselves would want to choose.
PACART thus became an independent online art gallery, with a deliberately open approach. We enjoy fostering dialogue between eras, movements, and sensitivities: modern and contemporary art, renowned artists and more confidential names, paintings, drawings, prints, and works on paper.
Our selection does not follow a pre-established catalog. Each work is chosen individually. We are of course interested in the artist, their career, and their place in the market, but also in the quality of the work, its condition, its provenance, and its authenticity. And we always reserve an essential place for what was at the origin of our own collection: love at first sight.
We also want to champion a certain idea of the art market: demanding without being intimidating, accessible without compromising on quality. Acquiring a work should remain a pleasure, whether you are an experienced collector or considering your first purchase.
Through each work, we finally want to provide what we ourselves sought as collectors: clear information, an insight, a story, and the elements to choose with confidence.
Because a collection is rarely built by following a rule. It is built through encounters, discoveries, and emotions.
